"I didn't miss you 5 seconds ago, but now I REALLY miss you!"

The title of my blog is exactly what Anne-Camille said to me on the phone yesterday. We seriously hadn't talked in a good week and a half to two weeks, which is incredibly too long and not at all like us to let it go that long without us talking. Nonetheless, we were horrible at life during that period...just kidding... we were both pretty extremely busy but it still was far too long for us.
Anne-Camille is the cutest... seriously. She always posts the most creative blogs and than every once in a while she'll post one about me and it makes me so grateful for her. Well now it's my turn...
Yesterday we FINALLY got a hold of each other and talked for probably about 20 minutes or so. While this was hardly enough time for us to talk it was nice just to hear her voice and her laugh, and to just realize that she misses me. It's funny because we all miss people in our lives, whether due to a loss of someone, the fact that they don't live that close, or just the simple truth that people change and along with that so do relationships, it's nice to hear that someone misses you. I KNOW that Anne-Camille misses me, but when she says it, it hits me.
The title of my blog is exactly what Anne-Camille said as we were talking. It's true though, just talking to someone brings you back to that person.... you can see the facial expressions they would make, they way they respond to you and your words, their laughter (which by the way, A-C's is THE best!... especially the one that comes after her real laugh), I guess while we were talking last night it just felt like we were back at her house being our silly selves again!
I miss you sister and I love you A LOT!!! =)

....
Now off to game film and than our first Regional game against Clearwater. I'll keep you posted!

Life is crazy... but when isn't it?!

Last week was honestly one of the hardest weeks ever for me with school. The weekend before this past weekend we left for Miami on Sunday for our basketball game on Monday. That night was amazing! We got to Miami about 7 and than went to a Cuban restaurant where honestly I ate food that I couldn't even tell you what it was. So good, though! On the ride to downtown Miami's pier we played Cuban music extremely loud on the bus and all got up and danced. Needless to say we were all over the place because of our Coach's driving but it was so much fun. The dancing didn't end there though. We arrived at the pier in downtown Miami, where they had live music and people dancing. We definitely joined in! Anyway on to the reason why we went to Miami. Monday evening we played St.Thomas and ended up losing. The ride home for consisted of 4 hours of homework, grr! I studied all day Tuesday and Wednesday I had 1 quiz and 1 test and than headed straight to Fort Wales to play Warner Southern. We played them last semester and lost to them in over-time, so we definitely wanted to beat them. However, that didn't happen. It was an extremely close game with us losing to them by about 4 points. My parents came to that game so afterwards we ate together and they took me back to school. The next morning involved a 7:35 test, yet again, not fun!
The light at the end of the tunnel for me was this past weekend. Rebekah and I went to my house and vegged out! Saturday we laid out pretty much all day and cooked dinner. I made Anne-Camille's fried chicken, which didn't really compare to hers, but it's a work in progress. We watched movies and just enjoyed not being at school and having a place to ourselves.
Sunday morning went to church where I saw my highschool coach. It was great seeing him considering I haven't seen him in almost a year. We went out to eat with one of my friends and than came back to the house and hung out with my parents. We ended up going to the beach later where we met up with a few friends of ours from school. We got in the water for a little bit, but it was about 4 so the sun wasn't as hot and the water was pretty cold. So football and volleyball it was!! I wish I could describe to you the two guys that we played volleyball with... (I'm laughing as I'm thinking of them)... at one point one of the guys looked at the ground and said, "Hey there little ground." Yeah - he said that.
Anyway we have this upcoming weekend off also so it's off to Ft.Myers with Bekah and Shannen for me! =)
